FATAL ACCIDENT

GISBORNE, 18th February. At Ormond tp-4ay a- man named William Byrne, employed at Ngakaroa, was killed while engaged in carting oats. Tlje load 'Began to slip, a,nd deceased became entangled' in the reins and fell, the wheels of the gray passing over him. He received injuries from. which he succumbed.
