THE POLLING IN 1914
, The total number of votes recorded in Wellington North at the last general election was 8237, being divided as follows :—Herdman, 4550 ;,Turnbull, 1895; Holland, 1658; informal, 104. The number, of electors on the roll was' 9936. . It is estimated that the number entitled to vote at the present election will be about 10,000. There have been nearly 4000 new enrolments, most of the new names having been added within the past few weeks. From this number, however, the deletions' for non-voting at last election, and persons deceased or removed, have to be deducted.'
