.. The funeral of the, late Mr. John Watters, of 59, Coromandel-street, : took place on Saturday afternoon, at the Karori Cemetery. \ The chief mourners were Mrs. Watters and Mr. and Mrs. Trueman. The various churches wore represented, and Mr. Marchbanks (engineer of the Wellington Harbour Board) and Mr. Darling (secretary of the Kelburn Tramway Company) were also present.. A short service was conducted at the Donald M'Lean-street Methodist Church, of which deceased was a member, by the Rev. E. Drake. The Rev. J. Richards officiated at the graveside, and j the Masonic burial service was conducted by .the-Master and officers of the lodge to which Mr. Watters belonged. The name "V, S. Lawn, Boldior," which appeared in tho list of voluntary enlistments in last Thursday's Post, should have Tead "V. S. Lavin." , Tho N.Z.
