PARAMOUNT THEATRE.

The new programme at the Paramount Theatre includes three excellent pictures. Jack Pickford ■ appears in "The Varmint," a very human story of a boy at a | boarding school and his gradual development of .manly qualities. A new note in comedy work is struck in "The Pullman Bride," the first of the Mack Sennett comics to be shown in New Zealand. Excellent also is a scenic, one of the famous Burton Holmes travelogues, entitled "West Point, the Gibraltar of the ■ Hudson." Altogether, the programme is one which should win approval from all classes and ages.
