REEF-TON", 16th February. The Westland Gold Prospective Syndicate, of which. Mr. David Ziman is managing director, ha« purchased the Worksop No. 2 Dredge, the largest and most powerful yet built in the Dominion. The machine is to lie removed to the Arahura Valley, near Hokitika, to dredge the native reserve and river, over which the syndicate holds extensive mining concessions, This, coupled with the discovery of a further gojcl-bearing reef, the third, at_ft depth'of 1350 feet in the North Blaokwate* Mine, of which.
