Reservist named Killalea. to enable him to . escape service, was sentenced to eighteen months' imprisonment. Mr. Justice Hosking said he agreed with the jury's verdict. It was a grave matter in these times, but he would not inflict the full penalty of three years' imprisonment, in view of the jury's recommendation to mercy and accused's previous good character.
