LONDON', 26th. January. In the House of Commons, Mr. T. Wing, Liberal member for Hougiiton, suggested that experienced commercial travellers should be appointed commercial attaches to British Embassies.
Mr. Steel Maitland, Secretary of the Department of Foreign Trade, replied that a select committee was considering appointments in British Embassies' and Legations on the commercial side of the diplomatic arid corMlar service.
