BODY FOUND IN AUCKLAND HARBOUR

AUCKLAND, 25th January. The body of a man, anchored by an iron cog wheel, was recovered from the harbour near the Hobson-street Wharf to-day by a diver. It is believed to be that of John Jones, aged 47, a former Harbour Board employee, who disappeared in November, while awaiting trial on a charge of threatening behaviour.
