AN EFFORT TO BULLY RUSSIA
(Received January 26, 11.30 a.m.) ' i PETROGRAD, 25th January. Hers Hoffman brutally expressed Germany's terms of peace at Brest Litovslc. He stated that Germany's future Eastern frontier would be from Riga ihrough Valky Dvinsk, and Brest Litvosk. A Russian delegate asked what ■would happen if Russia-refused. Herr Hoffman replied, "Reval will be occupied within a week." Huffman
added that the southern boundaries had been arranged between' Germany and the Ukraine. It appears that Germany has promised the Ukraine liberal • x boundaries at the expense o£ Russia, but the peace is conditional on the Ukraine ' supplying breadstuffs to Germany,.]
