OFFICIAL FILMS
TO THE EDITOR.
Sir, —I cull the following from the report of the Catholic Federation inserted in this evening's Post:—"The executive directed attention to the terms upon which the official films of the war—which are the property of the New Zealand Gorernmentr—were leased to one particular organisation, which was allowed 50 per cent, of the net proceeds, in addition to being allowed to caTry a large staff through the country really at the expense of the people. The Dominion Executive entered a vigorous protest to the Minister for Internal Affairs regarding the matter, but was informed that the arrangements entered into could not 'bo altered." Now, Mr. Editor, if this refers to the V.M.C.A. it can only be stigmatised as a piece of effrontery and bigotry. The V.M.C.A. is a cosmopolitan association, und is used by thousands of Catholic (soldiers here arid at the various fronts, as numbers of Catholic parents know. The whole paragraph makes one wonder what this particular federation's nest move will be?—l am, etc., | ,v NO BIGOT. i 15th January.
