I Shortly after 9 o'clock on Monday night a fire broke out in the freezing works at Feilding. The fire was extinguished with a\ fire preventive apparatus installed at the works. The flames 1 were confined to the wopl drying room, which was completely gutted. The building was insured in the Northern Insurance Company. Though the fire has caused more inconvenience than damage, no stoppage of work resulted, and killing operations were resumed as usual on the following morning.
