A dramatisation of Emile Gaborieau's 'celebrated detective story "The Family Stain," heads the current programme at the New Theatre. The mystery of the murder of the widow Le, Rouge, and tho method of its solution form the groundwork for a thrilling photo-play. ' Max lander, in " Max Comes Across," a two-reel, comedy showing at the Britannia Theatre, gives a delightful study of a comedian who is uproariously funny, and yet is clean in all his methods.
