AIR SERVICES
The London Daily Express declares that, provided the weather is favourable, the Atlantic will he crossed by aeroplane before the end of the year. The route will be via the Azores, and New York will be brought within 24 hours of London. The paper adds that .plans are beinc made for regular air services to the Capo, ; India, and Australia. Melbourne will bo eight days and a half from London, India three days, and the Capo from four to five daye. The speed will be 205 miles an hour, and the coat to passengers will bo no more than the first-class fare by an ocean liner.
