GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT SUBSCRIPTIONS.
According to a return presented to Parliament, the following contributions were made by Government Departments to the last War Loan :—Government Insurance Department, £210,000; Public Trust Office, £250,000; State Fire Insurance Department, £30,000;. Public Service Superannuation Board, £10,000; Advances to Settlers' Office, nil; Post Office Savings Bank, nil.
