<1I TIUGBAPB.—PEESB ASSOCIAHOS.j CHRISTCHURCH, 3rd November ' It was decided by the Wheat Conference to-day that an advisory committee should be set up to act in conjunction with the controller who will be appointed to control the industries connected with wheat. The personnel of the committee ie not complete, but it includes four representatives from each industry ' The millere 1 representatives are Messrs. Milligan (Timaru), Ireland (Oamaru), Bell (Auckland), and F R Coreon .(Christchurch). Messre. D. Jones' U. Horrell, and J. Talbot were appointed as the farmers' representatives-, and probably, another member will be ap-' pointed to represent North Otago. Before the conference was concluded a motion was passed expressing appreciation of the courteous, manner in which the Hon. AY..D. S. Mac Donald had met the conference and the delegates, and of the able way in which he had" smoothed, out the few difficulties that arose. A motion was passed thanking the Board of Trade for the expedition it ehowed by preparing in three weeks a practicable and' workable scheme on a complex subject. It was decided unanimously that in the opinion of the conference the Board of Trade should be entrusted with the duty of carrying out the scheme" to the: end. ' ■_■■•■"■•■ ■ ..."
