PROFESSOR ANDERSON.
If those people who doubt the reality of hypnotism had witnessed the entertainment Professor Anderson provided at St. Thomas's Hall, Newtown, on Saturday evening, their scepticism -would have Buffered a rude shock. t About a dozen young men readily offered themselves to be placed ia the hypnotic state, all being successfully hypnotised. Professor Anderson caused Miss Anderson to perform many and varied tests while in the hypnotic state, the tests being suggested by members of the audience and carried out by Miss Anderson without any speech between, her and Professor Anderson. The audieirce was kept in roars of laughter owing to the comical antics of the hypnotised men, one especially, funny, scene being that depicted in a barber's shop.
