WATERSIDE WORKER INJURED
A waterside worked named Fred Silk, employed by the Huddart-Parker. Company, was seriously injured while engaged on a vessel in port. A basket of coal became unhooked and struck him on the head and shoulder, inflicting a, severe scalp wound. and fracturing his collarbone and shoulder-blade. Silk was removed to the Hospital, and so fa* there lias been no improvement in his condition, which is not. very satisfactory.
