Sir, —In reference to the Bill before Parliament regarding the _ exemption of clergy from military service, I beg to state that the Unitarian Free Church, of this city has made no representation to the Government on the subject. That is to say, exemption has not been sought, and, furthermore, it is not desired. In regard to tins matter, both minister and congregation are in hearty accord. —I am. etc., CHAS. A. COOK, Hon.
