"NEW ZEALANDERS AT WAR."
To-night, in the presence of Their Excellencies the Earl and Countess of Liverpool, the Mayor and Mayoress _. or Wellington, and other distinguished citizens, Mr. Gerald Anderson will give, for the first time in Wellington, his popular description of " New 'Zealanders at War." During the evening reference will be made to New Zeala-nders' work in seven different countries, and some of the minor campaigns will be found _to be almost, if not quite, as interesting as the greater. City and country press have paid a tribute to the interesting and instructional nature of the lecture with unusual unanimity, and as Mr. Whitelaw will operate the pictures every care lias been taken to ensure their being shown to every advantage. Ample accommodation has been provided to meet a demand for the lower-priced seats.
