ARGENTINA SENDS FINAL NOTICE
GERMANY'S ABJECT REPLY
(ATJSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) NEW YORK, 22nd September. Advices from Buenos Aires state that Argentina has sent an ultimatum to Germany. (Received September 24, 9.20 a.m.) BUENOS AIRES, 23rd September. After the Government sent its ■ultimatum to Germany, crowds in the streets cheered the ultimatum. AH the German business 'houses took the precaution to erect barricades. (keuter's telegram.) (Received September 24, 9.30 a.m.) - BUENOS AIRES,' 23rd September. The German Note states that Germany exceedingly regrets the Luxburg affair, and absolutely disapproves his views, which are his personal ideas, and which will have no effect whatever on the decisions and promises of the German Government. GENERAL STRIKE IMMINENT '(AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received September 24, 8 a.m.) BUENOS AIRES, 23rd September. A fatal conflict occurred between railway men and'troops. A general strike is imminent, and the railway men are reported to have decided to begin.it on Monday. ■
