ENEMY'S WORKS HEAVILY, BOMBED.
The High Commissioner reports : — LONDON, September 22, 1.10 p.m. The Admiralty reports that onr ships (Vnircraftv bombarded tho naval works at Ostend this morning with satisfactory results. Three of the seaplanes assisting ihe enemy were brought down.

Thes Admiralty reports: Naval aircraft on the night and morning of 20th and 21st September dropped a large quantity of bomb* with, good results on the Aertrycke, Sparappelhoek, and Thourout aerodromes, and Thourout railway station, and also near the Atelier de la Marine {naval workshops) at Ostend. A Flying Corps patrol assisted to drive off numerous enemy aircraft which attacked our machines. All our .aircraft returned.
