WHAT NEURASTHENIA IS. Neurasthenia is the medical term applied to the condition of nervous exhaustion, that is very common in modern life. The patient does not appear to have any definite disease, but becomes incapable of sustained exertion. Sometimes the sufferer is subject to hysteria. If the patient can get away to the country or seaside and forget all cares and worry it will help gi'eatly ■ towards a cure. It will also be necessary to take a reliable tonic—such v a one as Dr. Williams' Pink Pills for instance. These pills stimulate the appetite and assist in the nutrition of the nerve cells. As tha nerves get their nourishment from the blood the treatment must be directed towards building up the blood. Dr. Williams' Pink Pills act directly on the blood, and with proper regulation of ithe diet have proved of the greatest benefit in many cases of neurasthenia. A tendency to anaemia, or bloodlessness, shown by most neurasthenic patients, is also corrected by these tonic pills; four own dealer sells Dr. Williams' Pink Pills. Further information on the tonic treatment of "Diseases of the Nervous System" is contained in a useful booklet which will be sent free to any applicant by the Dr. Williams' Medicine Company, Box 845, G.P.0., Wellington.— Advt. NO MORE- RHEUMATISM. The cause of all Rheumatic pain is uric acid deposit. This settles in the tissues in tiny crystals, which force their way like red-hot needles into the nerve tissues and produce the excruciating pains of Rheumatism. External applications can therefore give only temporary relief. To effect a permanent cure take an internal remedy which will dispel eixcesa uric acid and its deposits. Rheumo seldom fails to accomplish this; and the relief it gives, though almost instantaneous, is lasting. Convincing proof of the merits of Rheumo is given in the hundreds of letters received from New Zealandei-s. Sufferers for 14 and 20 years have been cured.
