"Some Problems of Karma, Personal, Individual, and National" was the subject of Miss t C. W Christie's address at the Theosophieal Society's rooms last night. After a reference to her lecture of the previous Sunday on the Karma of '■he past, present, and future, Miss Christie said that the law of Karma knew neither mercy nor revenge—it merely acted. Nature restored equilibrium at the expense of those .who disturbed, it. This was an oceiilt law. Another occult law was that, force or influence of any land when poured out upon tho world of men generated force and influence of an opposite nature, -restoring' equilibrium. A third, and perhaps the greatest of these occult laws, was that there was ah evolutionary current which nothing: could stem, and which carried everything with it as eddies on its surface into the bosom and petce of tho All Father.
