Samuel Chant-, aged' 41, a labourer, was killed at Waitahuna _ through rook falling on him while rabbiting. AUCKLAND, This Day. Alfred Henry Hawkins, a middle-aged man, while, alighting from a tram at Takapuna before the oar stopped, fell and fractured his skull, and died shortly afterwards. He leaves a widow and seven children.
