TWO BOYS DROWNED

INVERCARGUL, 17th Sept. Two boys, named Duncan Bell and Leslie Gu'thrie, both aged six, were drowned at Avenel to-day. They wero 'playing in a. boat, when they noticed the tide was beginning to rise. They got. out of the boat, but the flow of water was evidently too much for them, both being drowned.
