DARGAVILLE, 15th September. An enthusiastic public meeting ait Dargaville to:night was attended by 500 people. The following motion was* carried unanimously :—"That in view of the rapidly-growing hostile feeling against the aliens in this district regardingVthe lack of service on their part to assist the Government and the Allies to win the war, this public meeting of the citizens of Dargaville and district calls upon the Government to; take immediately, such action as will- effectually ensure\ equal sacrifice being made by a-Il aliens in some form of war work before calling upon .the first class of the' Second Division to go into camp." -
