the jockey, B. Deeley, received a. hostile demonstration after the hollow win in the Guineas, presumably on account of their showing in the Chelmsfbrd Stakes. Pierrepont ran second in the Hurdles. Sweet-Corn was Uiird -in the Camelia Stakes, while Sasanof, The Toff, and Shrill failed to get places in the Spring Stakes.
Following is the result of the race for the
Rosehill Guineas, of 500' guineas, nine furlongs; for three-year-olds; special weights.—Mr. G. D. Greenwood's blk c Biplane (N.Z.), by Comedy King—Air Motor, 1; Prince Viridis, 2; Baltic Sea, 3. Won by two lengths and a-half. Time, lmin 53-Jsec.
