WATERSIDE CONCERT.

A highly successful concert was given ;n X Shed on Saturday, night by the New Zealand \Variety 'Entertainers and the Waterside Workers' Glee Party. The orchestra, under the conductorship of Mr. W. T. Parsons, supplied the instrumental portion of the programme. Miss Wilson gave groat pleasure with her songs, which included Tosti's "Goodbye." The minstrel circle comprised the following artists, who were repeatedly encored: —; Mr. J. Blom and Mr. W- Sumner, corner men; Miss Mary Cooley. elocutionist; Master Chalk, bone .shaker; Miss Kate Gregory and Mr. Lawlor, vocalists; Miss O'Leary, Highland dancer; and Mr. G. Matthews, interlocuter. MrBrown (bagpipes), Mr. Bates (handcuff king), and Mr. Cockells (lightning artist) also rendered valuable service.
