ENEMY'S GUNS DOMINATED

LONDON, 6th September.
A French communique states : Our batteries in the Champagne are dominat-, ing the enemy artillery, which is particularly violent in the sectors of the Bntte dti Mesnil and the Main de Massiges. We vigorously shelled the enemy's front lines, preventing any attack. Tho enemy bombed Dunkirk, wound, ing a number of civilians. A French aeroplane bombed a German aerodrome and a railway station and many bivouacs.
