QUEEN'S THEATRE.
The two big features which form part of the programme at the Queen's Theatre, Cuba-street, continue to charm large, audiences. The head-liner is the five-reel patriotic subject "The -American Consul," which is a story of love and politics, and which incidentaJly introduces the causes that led up to the Mexican Rebellion, of which many thrilling battle scenes are shown. Next in order comes the farce-icomedy, "The Lost Bridegroom," in which the great favourite,' John Barrymore, is the star artist.: He portrays a wealthy society man who is kidnapped on the eve of his wedding, and every episode is filled with laughter. The rest of the programme is very entertaining. Next Monday "The Virginian," picturisation of the book of Owen Wieter, will be presented.
