Won by a length, after a good finish. Paki-iti , fell and Merry Jack ran off.

Marton Handicap, of "230 soys; one mile a.nd a-quarter.—4 Iceberg, 7.2, 1; 3 Lady Louisa, 7.13, 2; 7 Crawford, 7.6, 3. Also Etarted: 1 Orleans 8.0, 7 Maniaroa 7.13, 5 Goldstream 7.10, 6 Flying Camp 7.7, 7 Midnight Star 7.6, 2 Detroit 7.0, 6 Master Moutoa 7.0, 9 Lady Amai 6.12, 8 Roumania 6.10. Iceebrg came with a late run and won by a length. Time, 2min 21 l-ssec.

Also started: 2 Sandy Paul 10.12, 6 Marton 10.7, 4 Nita 9.9, 7 Golden Glow 9.7. Kurapai and Sandy Paul were always in front. Master Strowan came late and won comfortably by a length.
