SEQUEL TO COLLISION

On 17th March last a motor-car collided with a horse and gig at Taita, somewhav serious damage being done. The sequel was heard in the Magistrate's Court to-day, when George Henry Hunt and his wife, Mildred Hunt, proceeded against Chaplain W. H. Koberts, of Faatherston Camp, to recover £66 5s 6d for general and special damages. It was alleged that as the result of defendant's unskilful and negligent driving the' sir occupied by plaintiffs was overturned, that the horse was injured, the lamvis and harness damaged, and the plain tit's and their children severely brthsed and injured. Mr. S. E. M Carthy, 8.M., was on the Bench Mr. J. J. M'Grath appeared for the plaintiffs, and Mr. C H. Treadwell for the defendant.
