CIVIL ACTIONS

F. S. Smith,' £15 2s 7d, costs £1 10s 6d; John Chambers and Son, Ltd., v. W. Waddell, £10 17s 6d, costs £1 13s sd. Judgment summons case 3 were dealt ■with as under :—David Eberlet was ordered to pay the Te Aro House Drapery Company, Ltd., £2 5s by Ist October, or serve three days' imprisonment; Ernest C. Dockery was ordered to pay Smith and Smith, Ltd., £4 13s 8d by instalments of 10s a month, or undergo three days' imprisonment. In the case of Sarah Isabella Williams v. Mary Aitken, claim for possession of a tenement, judgment was given for plaintiff, with costs (£1 9s).
