(Received August 20, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, 19th August, ' Sir Douglas Haig reports : We have captured trenches in. the neighbourhood of Guillemont Farm, south-east of Epehy (ten miles north-east of Peronne). We raided positions south-west of Havrincourt (north-west of Epehy), and inflicted heavy casualties. The enemy aircraft on Thursday and Friday nights bombed some British casualty clearing stations, killing ten wounded German prisoners', and again wounding nine Germans. ' I
