The term holidays at the State schools in the Wellington Education Board's district will commence on Monday, 3rd September. The schools will reopen on Tuesday, 11th September. In a letter on the subject of pensions, written by Mr. David E. Wilkie, and published in yesterday's Post, a typographical error occurred. Sir. Wilkie referred to pensions of those called up for military service being " based" on pre-war earnings. The word " based " was wrongly printed as "taxed." Tho chairman of th© JSJapier Technical College invites applications for tho position- of director, who should have commercial and technical experience. At the Uuita.riau Free Church, Vivian'etrcdt, on Sunday evening, tho Rev. G. E, Hale, 8.A., will take as his subject , "Is Spiritualism Satisfying?"-
