N.Z. NATIVES' ASSOCIATION'S PATRIOTIC FAIR
The Now Zealand Natives' bag day proved a great success, and the purchasers were more than satisfied with their purchases. Early in the day most of the sellers were sold out. All bags could easily have boon disposed of, but the committee decided to withhold half for the stall at tho fair. There are over sixty special prizes in tho bags, and amongst them are a room papered free by 11. Hull, diamond and emerald ring, eiderdown quilt, <jtc. For the opening night, Madame Mueller promises a first-clais entertainment by leading Wellington artists, ,and as tho opening night is New Zealand night, all musical and elocutionary items will bo typical of New Zealand. The fancy stalls, sweet stalls, tearoom, produce stall, and eida shows arc in capable hands, and should prove * great attraction,
