Lutterworth at the outer tee <rf the Queen's .Wharf, and in order to facilitate • things apparently climbed up on the railing. It is thought that a sudden gust of wind-.caused him to overbalance and fall. W. Clements, another watersider, heard, the splash, and ran aft with a rope, which he threw to the man in the water. Deceased clutched at it and held on until J. Carwood, another coal worker, climbed down the ropes, and, with- the aid of. H. Gra'h&m, passed a rope round the now insensible man, and hauled him on to the hulk, where he was rendered first aid by Mr. J. Duder, an officer in the Union Company, who was assisted by a ship's fireman. Finally, Henderson Yegained consciousness, a-nd was able to assure his friendß that he was "all right."
