CANADIAN SHIPYARDS
WOOD AND STEEL PROGRAMME.

MONTREAL, 31st July. Canada will build for the Government, in the next twelve months, fifty wooden steamships, each of 2500 tons. The first will be launched within two months. Simultaneously the yards will build an equal number of steel ships.
