NEW (MACMAHON'S) THEATRE.

Ivatherine Torrance, a young and beautiful physician, is sent to cope with an epidemic at the vineyards of which Leonard Sheldon is the manager. The superstitious Mexicans believe, when the disease spreads • despite the efforts of the lady doctor, that she is responsible. An agitation is aroused against ■ Katherine, who has meanwhile fallen in love with Sheldon and he with her.
