The Waitangi Consolidated Gold Mining Company reports:—During tslie past week work has been in progress in No. 2 level. driving on the main reef. A further distance of s£t of the. hangings wall portion of the reef was broken down for an aver Ago width of 4ft. THGre is still a strong bod)' of qUH.rtz showing on the footwall side, which shows good minerals.
