HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP.

NAPIER, 9th April.
At the Napier Motor Cyd© dubs Easter race meeting to-day the 15-lap heavyweight championship of New Zealand was won by P. Coleman, of Palmerston North; with an 8-h.p. Indian; J. Dauber, Palmerston North (3^-h.p. Indian), 2; J. A. ICarton, Palmerston North (4J 8.5.A.), 3. Time, 16min. The average speed was 58 miles per hour. Coleman led practically the whole way, and won by three-quarters of a lap.
