HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.

A crowded .audience greatly enjoyed the new vaudeville programme submitted at His Majesty's Theatre last evening. Two newcomers were Thompson and MonteKj who sang with a great deM of energy, and whose efforts were rewarded with enthusiastic applause. Quite an unusual item, and one well worjsh while, was that provided by Zakaree Ermakov, a Russian who was formerly in the Secret Service, and who has met with many 1 sensational adventures. He was listened ito with great interest. A feature of.his address -was the optimistic manner in which he predicted that the Russians would be victorious very shortly. Miss Lily Vookler, who has a pleasing voice, sang some tuneful ballads which met with genuine appreciation. Others who -contributted to the success of the programme were Maud Fanning and her family of girls; Merlyn, "the worst wizard in the world," and his inimitable "Arch"; Dan Crow, Scotch comedian; Huntly Spencer, coloured tenor; Miss Jennie M'Rae, balladist, and the Delavale Brothers, comedians.
