The Karori Rifle Club fired a" friendly match against the Petone Rifle Club on their ranges, at Waiwetu pn. Saturday afternoon last, which resulted in a win for the Petone Club for both A and B teams. SUBURBS CLUB,

The Suburbs Defence Eifie Club completed its third series and championship on Saturday at "Broadway",' 1- Miramar. The championship, of the club was won by H. E. Hunt,-with an aggregate of 884 for ten shoots over all' ranges. The winner was congratulated by the members of the club oil his consistent shpoting and popular win. The runner-up was J. Smart. The weather on Saturday was not, the best for sh.oo.tjng, a heavy fog hoveling over the range, and this, with a tricky wind, at times, gave the' competitors a lively time. The best score for the day y/as made by G.- B. .Williamson, who' notched on 43 at 700 yards and 46 at 800 yards. Next Saturday the club will commence its fourth series at ranges of 300 and 600, yards.
