"THE DAUGHTER OF MACGREGOR."
The star attraction at the Queen's Theatre is a magnificent drama entitled "The Daughter of Macgregor." It is a thrilling Scottish story by the Famous Players Company, with numerous high-ly-picturesque scenes in Scotland and Florida, and several typical Scottish characters which are presented in a natural manner. Valentine Grant essaya the Tole of Jean, the persecuted daughter of Donald Macgregor, a stern old Puritan dominated by a second wife. She is delightful in the early scenes with the crabbed stepmother and irate father, and when she reaches Florida and comes into contact with the rough element in a lumber camp she speedily charms them with her innocence and personality. Her dog, Lady, secures appreciation for its intelligence, and is no mean factor in winning success for the production. Jean has many escapades and a succession of thrilling incidents daring her stay with her uncle in Florida, and finally all ends happily at home. The big picture is supported by a drama, "That Girl of Bourke's,".a cfever comedy, and'(until 7 p.m.) the 6th episode of "Pee o' ths Ring" entitled "A Cry for Help.
