THE PREMIER'S ANNOUNCEMENT.
LONDON, 23rd February. It is expected that the principal re. strictions on the imports which Mr. Lloyd George will announce to-day will ■be on fruit, wines, ores, tubers, and silks. In some cases there will be a reduction of 75 per cent. He will probably also announce the minimum wagfa for, farm labourers, concurrently with minimum grain prices.
