The He direct is given to a rumour circulated to the effect that the Club had changed hands. Mr. Tucker purchased this house 17 years ago, and' has conducted it ever since. The Club is the recognised commercial and family hotel of Palmerston North, and is so admirably situated, being very, centra] yet out of the noise and smoke of • the trains.
