THE QUEEN'S THEATRE.
The detective drama "For the Defence" is proving a great attraction at the Queen's Theatre. Fanny Ward fills the leading role, and it is contended by some who have seen her in this picture that her acting is even better than in "The Cheat." The supporting items are of good quality and well up-to-date, and include the sth episode of "Peg o' the Ring," entiled "The House of Mystery." To-morrow a magnificent drama, "The Daughter of MacGregor," will be shown. Valentine Grant plays the lead.
