Many of. the coats have an extreme . collar- of the sailor type, an innovation v \vhich gives an exceedingly smart effect.. A New and Useful -Style is the "Coat-Dress," . .We introduce to your notice the Coat-Dress, a ' new idea which has received very favourable comment by ladies. This is one of the most useful styles conceived of for seasons past—it combines the effect of the coat and skirt in a one-piece garment. The Coat-Dress is to enjoy great popularity, and we trust you will take this early opportunity of becoming- acquainted ' with it. , -.■■■■• The'-Autumn Millinery is also on Show. . We have described some of the latest Millinery models in a previous announcement, and we repeat our invitation to you to inspect these fashions. In addition to the imported models from England,. particular interest attaches to 1 the charming Gage hats from America. We are sole agents for these. ' \ Hatters' plush" and velvet predominate this season, and the most populur shapes are Sailors and Bretons. Trimmings are most novel—some I models have butterflies and birds' embroidered on the bands; some have tissue flowers; some" have wool trimmings; some fur; while one smart Hat in particular is finished with feathers and two green claws.
