Rose Anna Wise, a married woman, was sentenced to six monf.#s' hard labour for procuring beer for wounded Now Zealand soldiers at Lymington, Hampshire. It" was stated that slip supplied a Now Zealand soldier with beer, making a profit of 2s" per gallon. Another colonial, staying at her house, spent £15 in six days.
