MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS
LABOUR CANDIDATES,
Nominations of candidates- for the forthcoming local body elections have been received by, the Labour Representation Committee as follow : —City Council: Messrs. H. E. Holland, J. Glover, W. Wiles, J. M'Kenzie, J. Bead, J. Hutchison, E. Kennedy, C. Chapraau, and Dr. Wallace Mackenzie. Hospital and Charitable Aid Board : Mesdames Aitken, Medina,' Snow, Hazelwood,, Beck, Misses Cook, M'Donald, Messrs. T. A. Eagle, J. Read, W. Maddison, and Dr. Wallace Mackenzie. Harbour Board : Mr. A. H. Hindmarsh. As more candidates than are required have been nominated for the City Council, :a, selection ballot will'be taken on 10th February. The, Labour Representation Committee proposes to open its campaign on 1 21st February. ■
